The point I hope people grasp and don't let go of is that IF the rapture occurs before the tribulation, all is well and good as Christ's followers escape the brutal reign of the Antichrist. But what if pre-tribbers are wrong?? What if they are wrong in their feel-good assumptions about the timing of the rapture and Christ's followers in fact are not raptured until AFTER the tribulation? They will be spiritually crushed and demolished if they are not prepared. I'll gladly take my lumps from pre-tribbers if I'm wrong and we are raptured before the tribulation--but what do pre-tribbers plan to do if they aren't growing closer to Christ in the meantime anyway? That's the whole point of following Him, no matter what we have to go through. We shouldn't be wasting our time watching the calendar--we should be using every chance we have to grow stronger and deeper in our relationship with Christ and making disciples of all people. (Matthew 28:19) Anything other than that is dangerous. Thanks for your post.
